Dear Aircraft Owner:

We are a full service airport with 24-hour fuel, flight instruction and aircraft rentals, and pilot controlled lighting. We also do maintenance on single engine aircraft and light twins.

Since the purchase of Sylvania Airport in May of 2001, we have put in four new hanger units and one maintenance building. We have also put in new ramp areas, above ground fuel tank (100 LL), the pilot controlled runway lights, and rotating beacon. We have private hangers available from $150.00 to $225.00 a month plus tax. We try to keep the cost of flying down as much as possible so our annual inspection cost on aircraft is still a pretty good deal.

Plane rental is also low:

Cessna 150 Aerobat - $42.50 an hour wet
Cessna 152 - $47.50 an hour
Cherokee 140 - $60.00 an hour
Cessna 172 - $65.00 an hour w/Garmin 430

All these are wet rates. Fuel is $3.30 a gallon with cross-country fuel reimbursed at our cost. Obviously the prices change at the mercy of crude a barrel but we do try to keep it affordable.

We have done a lot since taking over the airport and slowly but surely we hope to grow and hope you will join us in our quest. We are GA friendly and that is by our design. Future plans include a longer east/west runway and hopefully a north/south runway. So come join us and become part of our family.
